Preparing Your Home for a Timber Floor Installation

Getting ready for install day is straightforward — here's everything we ask of our clients before we arrive.

The week before - Remove fragile items, art and curtains from rooms being floored. - Empty wardrobes only if they're being moved (we'll confirm). - Arrange somewhere safe for pets during work hours.

The day before - We'll deliver the timber so it can **acclimatise** in your home for 48–72 hours. - Make sure there's a clear path from the front door to the work area.

Install day - We arrive 7:30–8:00am. Expect 1–4 days of noise depending on scope. - Power and water access from inside the home. - Street parking near the front door is ideal.

After we finish - Walk through the job with us — we want you to be 100% happy before we leave. - We'll leave you a care guide, a small bag of off-cuts for any future repairs, and our number on speed-dial.
